Eurohotel Katrin Hotel & Bungalows

We were gutted that our first holiday abroad turned out this way. A travel agency recommended the hotel, knowing we wanted the trip to be all about the kids and for them to have a great time. I wouldn’t recommend it for children over 5. There was nothing for them on the beach either, just cafes and gift shops, with no activities they could join in. At the hotel, there were no daytime activities while we were there, despite the website saying there was a kids’ club and activities. In the evening, they had a 30-minute disco at 8:30 p.m. with the same five songs. The kids ended up using the adults’ pool because the “kids’” pool wasn’t suitable for bigger children and couldn’t fit many in. The lifeguard was useless half the time, sitting in a corner on her phone with another girl. I couldn’t relax or sunbathe because I worried something might happen to the kids and they wouldn’t notice. It was shocking from a health and safety point of view. Parents should be able to rest on holiday, but this was far from relaxing. Drinks were fine and drinkable, though I think they could have been better on tap, but that’s personal preference. The food was mostly the same each time and a lot of it didn’t look edible, though the pizza, chips and pasta were fine. The rooms were clean, but ours had no kettle, so we couldn’t have a hot drink in the evening. The tea and coffee machines weren’t open 24/7 and shut when the restaurant and bar closed. The man who welcomed us was friendly, but some other staff weren’t, especially around the pool, where they looked like they didn’t want to be there. We won’t be visiting this hotel or Stalis again.

We had seven fantastic days here, a wonderful place to relax and recharge. Kostas from Ambrosia restaurant is a great man, and special regards to him! Thank you for such a great time. We’ll definitely recommend the hotel to our friends and family.

The spirits were labeled as local, which would have been fine, but they were ghastly. The soft drinks were truly awful, the cheapest you can imagine. It’s the first hotel I’ve stayed in without Coke or Pepsi. The drinks were a total letdown.

Room 2001, with its twin beds and plunge pool, was the perfect escape. The hotel was clean, and all the staff were amazing, going above and beyond to make the holiday special. Dennis at the bar was incredibly patient and lovely with people of every age. The food was fresh, good quality and had a nice selection. I also had a complimentary massage, which was outstanding and just what I needed. It was a lovely touch. The location suited us well, with the beach and everything else we needed only a five-minute walk away. I’ve visited lots of destinations, and this is one of my favourites. I can’t recommend it enough.
