Villa Stella

The villa is modern and air-conditioned, with a lovely view and pool. But the aircraft noise was constant and very disruptive, from both military and commercial flights. We knew the airport was nearby, yet none of the reviews mentioned a downside and the travel agency hadn't told us about it, so I wanted to point it out. That's why I'm giving it only 3 stars. There's a sea view, but no direct access to the beach. A very small beach is within walking distance, though it's too crowded in August.

The location is beautiful, the furnishings are stylish, and we felt comfortable enjoying the relaxing atmosphere. There were some maintenance issues: the shower head was broken when we arrived and still didn't work properly after the repair, and a damaged bed slat affected our sleep. The Wi-Fi barely worked at first, but after we reported it, it was fixed and worked better. Communication was disappointing. Replies were slow, and important information often came late or not at all. A gardener and someone cleaning the pool also showed up on the property without warning during our stay. We would have liked more respect for our privacy. It's a lovely place with plenty of potential, and better communication and maintenance would make it perfect.
