Avithos Resort Apartments Hotel

This was my second stay at Avithos, and it really stands out as the best place to stay in Svronata. The rooms have everything you need, including a safe. Everyone on staff is polite and friendly. The owners and management should be proud of the team and of themselves.

We’ve already booked for next year. We’ve never before picked the same place for a holiday twice, which says a lot about how much we enjoyed our stay. The pool area was fantastic and well looked after. Even with the hotel full, there was no scramble for sunbeds. We were with our five-year-old and felt at ease because the layout is enclosed and safe, so she could have a little independence. The pool bar was great, if a bit pricey. Having self-catering rooms made it easy to balance meals in with eating out. The area is peaceful and charming. The hotel is a little remote, but there are nice tavernas within walking distance, more choices nearby if you have a car, and a beautiful beach and local supermarket a short walk away. Our holiday in beautiful Kefalonia was wonderful, and the hotel made it especially memorable. The rooms were spotless, nicely decorated and well equipped, thanks to the excellent housekeeping team. Staff were friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived, and made us feel right at home.

The pool and bar sit in the middle of the resort, and that layout made us more comfortable letting our son walk around. The children also loved the family of turtles on site. There are olive and orange trees everywhere, and they smell lovely in the morning. The hotel is beautifully cared for, and clearly makes an effort to look after the planet while still providing what you need. We found the rooms spacious and thoughtfully set up for families, with the usual amenities and pool towels provided. The staff and housekeeping team were friendly. It was a relaxed, lovely place to stay, with a nearby beach, rental car booking and private tours available. The bar had a great range of food and drinks, plus ice cream. We’d definitely return to Avithos.

The staff made us feel so welcome. They were kind, always available, and ready to help with anything we needed for our baby, from little requests to bigger ones. We felt at home, and they made the holiday easy and enjoyable. Avithos Kefalonia is quiet, peaceful and beautifully maintained, with a warm atmosphere. There’s a lovely main pool as well as a small baby pool that was perfect for our little one. We highly recommend it to families with young children or babies. Thank you!
