Inglessata Rose

Ann Marie was such a warm, wonderful hostess, and kindly gave us all the island information we needed. The gardens were a lovely place to sit on our little private porch in the evenings, and the whole setting was peaceful and quiet. It felt like home away from home. Our room was just like the photos, practical and very clean, and we could work on a laptop when needed thanks to the Wi-Fi. There's lots of parking on the property. A mini market, a couple of good value restaurants, and cafeterias are within walking distance. Ai Helis and Ammes beaches are close by, Argostoli is a 20 minute drive, and the airport is 10 minutes away. A real nature hideaway, with green grass, plants, and trees all around, including hundred year old trees. It's pet friendly too.

The organic orchard and the incredibly kind, caring hostess were the highlights for me. I also loved having breakfast on my veranda with birds and butterflies around. It's a lovely place near my favourite beach, Ai Helis, and the rooms are very clean, elegant, and equipped with all the comforts.

We spent four wonderful weeks on Kefalonia and loved Inglesata Rose. Wayne and Anna-Maria made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived, and were always available with help or information without making us feel watched. The apartment had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean, set among the family's beautiful orange grove. Svoronata is a lovely residential area, with Avithos beach and local minimarkets and restaurants nearby. We had a hired car for our whole stay, and there was plenty of parking inside the gated grounds. We'd happily recommend Inglesata Rose to anyone visiting this beautiful island.

Anna-Maria is such a lovely host. She made us feel welcome and comfortable throughout our stay.
