If you're looking for peace and quiet, Sandy Beach Villa's and apartments is a real gem. It sits at the end of the airport runway, but the planes coming and going don't really bother you. There's not much in the way of activities, so it's not for someone looking for that. Mario, his wife Natassa, and the staff are so welcoming. The accommodation is basic, but clean and tidy, and the maid comes every day except Sunday. There are plenty of taverners within walking distance, plus a small shop with just the basics. And if you don't like cats, this isn't the place for you.

We had a really relaxing time here, with sunbeds available whenever we wanted them. Sandy Beach Villas is in a superb spot, just 10 minutes from the airport, and our first floor apartment had sea views. Mario and Natasha were charming and helpful hosts, and Kiki looked after the pool and pool bar brilliantly.

We spent a lovely week at Sandy Beach in July 2024. The people looking after us were fantastic, and the location was great, close to the beach, nearby tavernas, and a mini-mart. We spent plenty of time by the pool and at the villa, just relaxing. Highly recommended!

It's a bit noisy sometimes because the airport is close, but it doesn't last long. The cleanliness is 5 star, and the owners and their family treat you so well. They're lovely and welcoming, and it feels like having your own private villa. We want to keep it our secret, but will we come back? You bet. Mario & Natassa can't get rid of us. xx

The owners are welcoming and always accommodating, and it’s a family friendly place. Breakfast was excellent, with lots of taverns nearby. The beach is 5 min away, and there’s a bus stop right outside, with buses to argostoli. We hired a car for 5 days from pefanis car hire. We loved our stay and would happily come again.
