We only saw the outside of the construction site, but the project looks promising. It definitely wasn't ready to check guests in, so opening on June 1st had been too optimistic. We booked through the hotel's website and were told about the unfortunate situation. They cancelled our stay a month before check-in and gave us a full refund, with no charges. Best wishes for a successful opening soon.

My booking at Tetra Resort & Spa through Hotels.com was non-refundable, so cancelling it myself would have cost me the full amount. The hotel cancelled at the last minute without giving a reason, and neither it nor Hotels.com offered compensation. I had to find a similar-standard hotel for significantly more money. The hotel cancelled my reservation at no cost to itself. Be careful booking here; in my experience, the property proved completely untrustworthy.

My trip was booked through Travelzoo, and the reservation was cancelled less than a month before I was due to travel. They’re only offering replacement hotels of a much lower standard and making the refund difficult. I’d give this zero stars if I could. It feels like a scam, and I’m taking it up with my card refunder.

We came to Tetra in late October for its soft opening. It was a nice stay and seemed like an exclusive resort. I’d visit again this summer.

Travelzoo booked our stay, and I was really looking forward to it. Then it was cancelled just a week beforehand. Tetra Resort and Spa Hotel showed no customer care at all. Book somewhere that actually wants your reservation and is legitimate.
