The owners were lovely, spoke perfect English, and got back to us quickly whenever we had a question. We’ve had two wonderful holidays at Villa Katrin, in 2021 and 2022, and hope to return. It’s easily the best villa we’ve stayed in. The outdoor area is especially nice: private, with a good-sized pool and a covered sun terrace. We spent hours playing with the kids in the pool and lounging in the sun. Inside, the villa has a modern open-plan layout that worked brilliantly for our young family, and it was well equipped for meals, entertaining, and relaxing. A couple of local supermarkets and several tavernas are a short walk away. We especially liked Milos for the fresh fish and sunset views, and Acropolis for its broad menu and friendly staff. Ammes beach is about a 10-15 minute walk away. It’s nice, and planes sometimes fly low overhead as they land at the airport, which our son loved. Our favorite was Eglina beach, a five-minute drive away. It’s quieter, and turtles lay their eggs there. We were lucky enough to see a couple of baby turtles hatch. We’d very much recommend Villa Katrin and hope to return soon.

We loved our stay at Villa Katrin in Kefalonia. The villa had everything our family of five needed, and the children spent ages running and playing in the beautifully landscaped grounds. The pool area was lovely, and there was a great barbecue and a playground. Everything felt safe and private for the kids, and it was peaceful with no busy roads nearby. There’s a lovely beach within walking distance, along with a mini market and a few tavernas nearby. The villa is elegantly decorated, and being all on one floor made it easy to get around. We highly recommend it.

The villa is beautiful, spacious, and a good size for families. When we arrived, there was no hot water, but it was fixed quickly. While we waited, they gave us a hotel room to shower in and complimentary drinks. The only thing I didn’t like was having just one key. The electricity card has to stay in its slot for the power to work, so if you don’t lock the door as soon as you come in, you have to put the whole villa in darkness to lock it. That’s not great with little kids when you need to leave a light on. It only takes seconds, but a one-year-old and a three-year-old don’t understand that. Apart from that, everything was perfect. I’d recommend it without hesitation and stay again.
