George looked after everything and was friendly, attentive, and always helpful. The house is tucked into a central spot in Chorio, with two good restaurants, a mini market, and a bakery right nearby. We stayed three nights and had all we needed: a clean room, fresh sheets and towels, even beach towels, plus a fully equipped kitchen. And the harbor view is spectacular. We’d happily recommend it and will be back. Thanks, George, for making us feel so welcome.

The unit’s views over the port are spectacular, and in summer it would be lovely, with restaurants and supermarkets close by. George clearly tries hard to accommodate guests, and his description says the unit is “especially good in summer.” We booked 30 nights at the end of winter, though, and found it very, very cold. The listed washing machine, microwave, stereo, and other amenities weren’t there. We contacted the owner straight away. After a lot of discussion between him and TripAdvisor, he eventually agreed, reluctantly, to a full refund, and we moved out. It’s basically a studio: the dining and sleeping areas share one room, with no lounge or sitting area. The kitchen is a passageway leading to the bathroom, which is outside. Going out to it at night in the rain and cold, as it was during our stay, wasn’t pleasant. As elderly guests, we wouldn’t recommend it for people like us. For a fit young couple on a short summer visit, it could work very well.

Georgios greeted us and was really helpful. The place was clean and comfortable, with that home-from-home feel, and the location was great too. We’ve stayed in many places on Symi, and this was one of the best.

The view was stunning, and the apartment was beautiful and had every comfort. It was cleaned, the towels were changed, and there was even a Nespresso machine. George was so helpful! Highly recommended. Thanks, George, for a wonderful stay 💯😍
