The room had a sea view and a beautiful sunset, and there was enough space to open two large suitcases. Breakfast exceeded what I expected, with more protein than I’ve found at other hotels at this price. The staff were kind and helpful, and it felt like great value. You can walk to town, but be ready for an uphill walk back.

For a 3 star hotel, this place offers a lot. The staff welcome you warmly when you arrive and help you understand what the island has to offer. Breakfast was great, and the views were lovely apart from the cruise ships, which are a general issue on the island.

After a week on a sail boat, we stayed here for a couple of nights. Our room and its view were perfect, and the staff were wonderful, helpful and personable. A friend was leaving that night, and the team invited her to breakfast, let her spend the day there, and even helped her get to the airport. The buffet had plenty of variety, including regional choices, and they made custom coffees each morning. Such a nice way to start the day. The hotel sits nicely between the old and new harbors, with an easy walk into all the hoopla in town. It was great!

The views over the sea each morning were unforgettable, especially from the terrace where we enjoyed the complimentary breakfast buffet. Fresh coffee, tasty pastries and plenty of choices made breakfast feel like a treat. Madalena Hotel was immaculate, well cared for and styled with classic Mykonian charm. From arrival, the staff made us feel at home. Everyone was friendly, attentive and ready to help, whether with restaurant recommendations or planning our days around the island. Madalena Hotel felt like a peaceful, welcoming haven, and it has a dear place in our hearts. We’re already planning to return and highly recommend it.
