By the sea luxury suites

Staying on Paxoi is a blessing in itself, but these rooms kept that happy, lively feeling with us for the whole visit. The rooms were beautifully decorated, perfectly clean, with a healing view and warm people around. Thank you, Yiannis, and thanks to the kind cleaning lady. It was a unique memory. I hope we’ll come again, and I know we’ll stay in your rooms. Congrats!

It’s a quiet spot with its own beach and sunbeds, about ten minutes from the center, with nice shops and tavernas nearby. We had a fantastic stay: the rooms were comfortable, spotless, and cleaned daily. Breakfast was good, and the staff were always kind and helpful. We’d definitely return.

We spent the whole day there, having cocktails and using the beach. The cocktails and lemonades were great. I think they were homemade, since they had such a distinctive, amazing taste. Everyone on staff was warm and kind to us. The water is stony near the shore, so take care, though it gets sandy farther out. I’d recommend it, and maybe we’ll try the hotel one day.

Such a shame, because we loved this place at first. We visited three times and thought the comfortable sunbeds made it our favourite spot in Thassos Town. So when we heard about the live music night, we couldn’t wait to come for dinner and drinks. That visit was a big letdown. We waited 40 minutes for a drink and spent three hours there in total. We asked for the cheapest wine, which was still €20 a bottle, but the waitress brought us the €25 one instead. The food arrived undercooked, though they recooked it with a smile. It took a long time, but to be fair, it was delicious. The bill was much higher than we expected. They refused to give us an itemised bill, even though we’d received one on each previous visit, so they clearly do provide them. People around us seemed to be questioning their bills too. When we checked each item, we saw they’d charged us for a more expensive wine than the one we ordered, and the price per glass was also higher than the menu price. It’s a lovely place, but be very careful about the prices. They’ll rip you off if you’re not careful.
