The place is well equipped apart from the air conditioning. There’s one unit in the living room, but it doesn’t cool the whole accommodation. The bedroom has only a portable AC, and it makes a lot of noise. The location is great, though.

I’m updating my review, and the earlier points still stand. I also need to mention things missing from the room. They said they trust the cleaner completely, but I’m certain my new white jeans and two ceramic rings disappeared. It’s really sad because we loved the location and wanted to return next year. The apartment had a spectacular sea view and a huge terrace. The owner recommended restaurants and beaches, cleaning was done daily, and towels were changed. It’s a five-minute walk from the center of Limenas.

We had a hot water issue in our apartment, but the hosts quickly moved us to another one and were very gracious and apologetic about it. It was just bad luck and didn’t reflect the quality of the accommodation. A really nice place, spacious and clean, with lovely hosts.

Our return visit to Mythodea was just as dependable as the first. The spacious one-bedroom apartment worked well for our family of four, with a separate bedroom for two and two single beds in the living room. There was also a four-seat indoor dining table and a lovely outlook over the sea and harbor. We could reach most taverns and local sights on foot, and the ferry harbor at Limenas was close by. A supermarket, bakery, and cafés were three minutes away; the sea was 15 seconds away, and Vournelis Hotel's pool was 30 seconds away if you bought something at the bar. The area still felt quiet. The kitchen had an electric stove, microwave, coffee machine, sandwich maker, kettle, dishes for four, and a few pots, so we could make breakfast or dinner. We ate on the terrace with coffee, wine, or beer when the weather was nice, and indoors when it wasn't. The bathroom had a washing machine, and each terrace had a drying rack, so clothes could be washed and dry by the next morning. Towels were replaced daily, sheets every two days, and the apartment and terrace were cleaned once a day. Emma was a very good host for us again this year, and we could ask her for anything from beach and taverna tips to information or extra sheets. In the evening, after watching the sunset from the terrace, we liked walking through Limenas. Keep an eye out for fireflies in the neighboring olive orchard before you enter the villa grounds. During this particular time, we felt safer having lunch at tavernas as late as possible, such as after 3 PM, and eating breakfast and dinner on the terrace. That let us enjoy the available experiences while keeping a safe distance.
