Anatolia Hotel

I was here for nearly two weeks and felt really comfortable. The room was clean, and it was easy to use the shared areas, including the spa and gym. The restaurant’s food and wine were very good too. I’d recommend staying here.

The staff were all excellent and genuinely helpful, and we appreciated that a lot. There’s free parking within walking distance, though we hadn’t expected a space at the hotel itself. The hotel and breakfast are quite basic, which is fair for the price. Our room did have an unpleasant smell from the air conditioner, but we only stayed one night and didn’t report it. The date policy is the reason for my four stars. I entered the wrong dates on Booking.com and only wanted to change them, not get a refund. The operator rudely told me to sort it out with Booking. The hotel seemed to use a third party for reservations, and because it was listed in a promo campaign, Booking said it couldn’t modify the booking. The change was refused. Be very careful when selecting your dates.

I was really happy with my stay. The room service came quickly on the evening I was too tired to go out, and the burger was delicious. Breakfast had lots of variety, with healthy choices and treats, and there’s a spa with massages and facial treatments too. The hotel is very clean and well kept, with spacious rooms and a large bathroom. It’s about a 15-minute walk to the city center and only a minute from a metro station. Everyone was kind, polite and helpful, including the friendly housekeeping staff.

The rooftop bar was a lovely place to relax with a drink and take in the city views. Breakfast also stood out, with plenty of fresh, high-quality choices, and the spa and gym add to the stay. What really made the difference, though, was the staff, from the warm welcome at check-in to their attentive service afterward. Anatolia Hotel is in a convenient but peaceful part of Thessaloniki. The modern, well-designed rooms were spotless and cozy, the beds were very comfortable, and the amenities suited both business and leisure travelers. I found it excellent value and a great choice for a visit to the city.
