Athina's house

Athina, thank you! The host was so kind and welcoming, and the apartment was beautiful and very, very clean. It made us feel at home. We only stayed one night, but if we get the chance to return to Thessaloniki, this will be our first accommodation choice. P.S. I finally managed to spell your name correctly! :)

Athinas house felt like a little sanctuary, with great restaurants just an easy walk away. The place itself was spotless and the sheets were crisp. We didn’t like Thessaloniki, but that’s a separate story.

The biggest issue for us was the bathroom window, which had no curtain. At night it felt unsafe to use because people outside could easily see in. We also struggled to sleep because footsteps from the upstairs neighbors sounded extremely loud, even when they were just walking normally. The old building has a wooden roof, and at times it felt like it might come down on us. That was a shame, because the first impression was so good. Everything had been prepared before we arrived, including cool air from the AC and water in the fridge. There was coffee, tea, a candle, a first aid kit, and all sorts of useful things. A folder on the table had information about the city, museums, parking, markets, and more. The place also had a nice nostalgic look. Aside from the bathroom curtain and the noise overhead, everything was good.

The flat was spotless and had everything we needed, whether for a short trip or a longer stay. Athina was kind, gave us helpful advice, and was easy to reach whenever we had a question. The center is within reasonable distance.
