Elephant Suites Apart-Hotel

I wouldn’t recommend this accommodation. The furniture is old and damaged, and the rooms smell of smoke because people smoke in them and the curtains retain the smell. The bedding looked visibly clean. The bathroom is in desperate shape, with cracks everywhere, though the wooden elements are protected.

The lock showed a low battery message, and we couldn’t even get into the room. Inside, things were in terrible shape, really dirty, and damaged, broken, or badly repaired. The photos will show just how poor the quality is. The curtains, bed, and bathroom were all damaged, and even the floor was sinking. It was a nightmare. Don’t stay here.

I’ve been a frequent guest at Elephant Suites, staying more than six times, but the service and upkeep have clearly gone downhill this year. Apartment 101 was unacceptable. The main door lock was poorly secured, with a visible gap that looked easy to tamper with. The bathroom door lock came off completely and nearly caused an injury. The bed seemed broken in the middle and held up only by boards. I checked in around 5-5:30 PM local time, and the towels were still damp. Cleaning was also poor, with areas behind the curtains clearly not cleaned for a long time. The place was much better 2-3 years ago. After this stay, I’ll seriously reconsider coming back, and I’ll share this feedback publicly.

The room was dirty inside, and there was no hot water when I tried using the shower's specific device. I had asked for a sea view but was given a view of the mall instead. The hotel had looked like a top choice on Booking, so this fell well short of what I expected. I hope they sort these problems out for future guests.
