Mediterranean Palace Hotel

The hotel is just 100m from the waterfront boardwalk, with stunning sunset views. Staff were professional and personable, and the rooms were spacious, clean, and had AC. Breakfast was great, with comfortable seating and attentive service. Chrys tended the bar, serving great drinks and local brews, and gave excellent recommendations for the area. The laundry was the best I’ve experienced in 10 years, with clothes returned crisp, fresh, and perfectly dry cleaned. Highly recommended.

The staff and management were so friendly and polite during our stay, and breakfast was very good quality. We found the whole hotel clean, quiet, and comfortable. We arrived around 7 AM, and they kindly let us check in early, which we really appreciated. I’d choose this hotel first if I come back to Thessaloniki.

The food was a real highlight, with creative, balanced flavors that stayed with us after each meal. We also felt especially looked after as a family: our child had toiletries, little slippers, and a soft robe, thoughtful touches that made them feel just as welcome as an adult. The beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable, and the whole hotel smelled fresh and was spotless. There’s a grand, extravagant feel, with golden details and refined elegance, but it still comes across as warm, modern, and inviting. Every staff member we met was kind, smiling, and attentive without hovering. This is the kind of luxury that feels personal. We left relaxed and pampered, already thinking about coming back. Highly recommended.

The waterfront location makes it easy to walk to Ladadika and the city center, and valet parking was convenient. We enjoyed the modern comforts in the tastefully decorated rooms, as well as the spa and indoor pool. Staff were attentive and friendly, and the breakfast buffet had plenty of well-presented choices. Some parts of the property feel dated and could use renovation to meet modern expectations. Even so, it remains one of Thessaloniki’s top hotel options.
