The studio is modern and attractive, and its location works well if you want restaurants and bars close by. On weeknights, it’s a great place. Our long weekend was a different story: there’s a club below the apartment playing loud electronic music until 6 am on weekend nights. Earplugs are provided and the windows are reasonably insulated, but the bass is the issue. It was strong enough to rattle the windows, and you could feel it in the walls and your body. I’m not a light sleeper and can sleep through most sounds, but this sound system made proper sleep impossible.

The rooms are nicely decorated and include a kitchen, right in the city center. There’s no reception, though, so I couldn’t find anywhere to leave my bags while waiting for my bus after checkout. Still, it was a lovely experience.

I’m in Thessaloniki every week strictly for business, and Olvios Lofts has become my first choice whenever it’s available for staying, working, and enjoying myself. It’s right in the center, in the famous Ladadika district, where you can stay, have fun, and enjoy the city.

The apartment itself is modern and nice, but check that you have the right address, since the one on Booking is the office address. The elevator sometimes breaks down. It’s not far from the center, though there’s a nightclub in the same alley and it gets extremely noisy until 6 am. If you’re a light sleeper, this place isn’t for you.

The house has a nice atmosphere, so staying in is fine too, but this is really a place to experience Selanik. It can be a little noisy, though you’re right in the heart of town. The owner, Stelios, is the kindest and best. Thanks for everything.
