The location puts you right among the cafes, coffee shops, restaurants, and waterfront, and the room was neat, tidy, and nicely renovated. The bathroom was a good size, and staff communicated well. The WiFi kept dropping and wouldn’t connect reliably. In the end I had to sit on the floor by the front door to get a signal. The suites are on Level 7, while other tenants use the rest of the building. The building seemed in very poor shape, and the old lifts made me nervous about getting stuck. One lift had its emergency phone removed, so there’d be no way to call for help if it broke down. At times, the stairs to Level 7 felt like walking through an abandoned building. The booking site listed laundry, but it was just a storage room with a washer and dryer. I wasn’t comfortable using them, so I went to a local laundromat and paid to have my clothes washed.
