We were upgraded very graciously from the room we'd booked at Blue Bottle hotel to a super suite. It had a separate bedroom, a place to sit and watch TV, and a coffee-making area. Breakfast was delicious, plentiful, and offered lots of variety. We had a lovely stay, and the location worked well: a quieter street but close to great spots for eating and drinking. We'll book again when we're next in Thessaloniki.

The team was so kind and attentive, and Socrates was especially helpful. With the cabs on strike, he even drove us to the bus station. The street below can be noisy, but it didn't bother us at all. We had an amazing stay!

It's a cute, charming hotel, and the staff are helpful. The tourist sights are within walking distance. Breakfast took a long time to get to everyone, so I wondered why they didn't serve it buffet style. It can be a bit noisy at night if you need an open window and are a light sleeper. In October, bring mosquito repellent unless you don't mind waking up because of them.

The breakfast was sensational, and Marialena made it even better by greeting us warmly, explaining how it worked, and serving us with such kindness. She's a wonderful person and a real asset to the hotel. On the day we went to the beach, the hotel even gave us sunscreen, such a thoughtful touch. My best friend and I had a wonderful stay, better than we'd expected. A young man at reception welcomed us warmly on our first day, though sadly I can't remember his name. Our room was spacious, spotless, and nicely furnished, and the shower was huge, almost big enough for 2-4 people. Housekeeping kept everything immaculate throughout. This will stay a special memory for us, and it won't be our last visit.
