Just avoid HALU. At Boat House, we were first put in a tiny single room instead of the studio apartment we had booked. After we were moved, two apartments had no electricity, another hadn’t been cleaned and still had “souvenirs” from previous guests, and a door handle came off. The apartments were poorly maintained, and customer service was bad and unreliable. Celine Apartments are beside a pile of broken asbestos, a cancer hazard, and surrounded by garages and factories. There were marks of s***m on the furniture. Halu didn’t mention any of this before booking.

The company’s support really stood out: they were quick to respond, helpful, and made the whole process smooth. We stayed in two different places, and both were clean, comfortable, and clearly well cared for. A fantastic experience, highly recommended!

We tried both the Mandarin apartment and Beyond seafront apartment, and liked them both. The hospitality team at halu! made us feel welcome, and lots of their properties are centrally located, which helped us discover Thessaloniki’s hidden gems. I’d gladly recommend halu!’s places to a friend. We’ll be back.

All three of my trips went smoothly, and each stay felt like home. I needed somewhere to stay in Thessaloniki at a very important time in my life, with little notice.
