It’s 11 years since one person in our group last came, and everyone was pleased with the return. This family hotel is on the edge of town, about five minutes by taxi from the ferry port. The two sisters who run it, Alexandra and Argyro, are efficient, friendly, and very helpful. Alexandra was quick to reply to my questions by email before we arrived, and they both looked after us so well during the stay. The hotel overlooks a small stony beach with crystal clear water. We swam there at 7.45 every morning before breakfast. Our group of four had the two top-floor rooms, both facing the sea, and a huge private terrace where we could relax during the hottest part of the day and after dinner. The indoor and outdoor areas were spotless throughout. Breakfast was a generous buffet with lots of choices, from Greek yoghurt, toast, cakes, savory and sweet tarts, cereal, Greek salad, eggs, ham, cheese, salame and more. The coffee was really good, and there were plenty of teas. It’s a quiet neighborhood, just a short walk from the town’s restaurants and about a mile from the island’s best beaches, where sun loungers and beach bars were very affordable. Taxis were efficient and reasonably priced. We were sorry to leave, and are recommending the hotel and island to friends for future holidays. I can’t speak highly enough of Alexandra and Argyro and the welcoming, efficient feel of their great family hotel.

The sisters who run Agali Bay Hotel were so kind and always around, doing everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. We had a wonderful time. Its location worked perfectly for us, with the town within easy walking distance. After day trips, we could park at the hotel and walk into the center. The elevator was handy for getting our luggage to the second floor. We loved starting each morning with a fresh cappuccino and a beautiful sea view. Thanks for a lovely stay!

The sisters running this little family hotel made us feel very welcome. Our clean, well-kept room was a decent size. It’s well placed, around a ten-minute walk from the center and also a short walk from the beaches. We especially liked the agoi fokas beach. Highly recommended.

The sisters who run Agali Bay were warm and welcoming, and gave us thoughtful advice about what to see and where to go. The friendly atmosphere made us feel right at home during an excellent stay on Tinos Island. We had a clean, comfortable room with air conditioning and a lovely veranda, a good fit for a longer visit. Housekeeping kept it tidy. The hotel is in an ideal spot, a short, peaceful walk from Chora Town. Breakfast on the deck overlooking the sea was a highlight every day, and it was a thoughtful touch to have our coffee ready each morning. We’d happily return.

We missed flights and had extra expenses after high winds stopped the ferries, leaving us stuck in Tinos. Agali Bay Hotel came through for my family of four and found us a room. The owners were incredibly kind and hospitable, a bright spot in a difficult situation. They added a bed in our two rooms for my youngest, and everything was clean and fresh. We took a dip in the water just to the left of the hotel, then ate at San to Atali. It was delicious, the best meal I’ve had yet in Greece. We were happy with the whole experience.
