Virginia Rooms

The rooms were clean, tidy, and great. The staff were friendly, and the man in the transfer van was especially kind. We’ll be back next year.

Virginia was lovely and very helpful. She’s clearly busy, but she accommodated everything we asked for, and the staff in general were great. The location checked all the boxes for me. It’s about a 30-second walk from what I’d call one of the main streets in the Xora, with lots of places to eat, shop, and drink, and it’s also an easy walk to the famous Panagia Evangelistria church. Despite being so central, it was quiet. Our room had four beds, a double and two singles, separated by a partition wall. Each section had its own widescreen TV, though I didn’t use them. The room was modern and up to date, with the details well thought out: plugs beside the beds for devices and flexible reading lights above both sides. Everything was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the shower had glass sliding doors instead of a curtain. I couldn’t fault the room, especially for the price. I hope to stay here again if I return to Tinos.

The hotel was clean and very nice, with excellent service. Ask for directions and they’ll give you detailed information for the whole island, along with plenty of maps showing different routes. It’s in the centre of the hora, with places to eat a two-minute walk away. The port is about ten minutes on foot, though finding parking for your car will be a problem. The monastery is a full 15-minute walk, uphill.

A lovely little studio, very clean and equipped with everything I needed, though the room was small. The location was great, but mornings were noisy.
