The pool was quiet and lovely for swimming, and the garden was beautiful. Just a couple of steps away, there’s a scenic beach, though it can be hard to reach when the wind is against you. Our double room was simple but practical, with a nice balcony and a perfect view of the sea and countryside. We had a beautiful four-day break from the city heatwave. The staff were really friendly and helpful. There are plenty of good places nearby, but you’ll need to drive or cycle. Best value for money in the greater area of Navarino.

Right along the coast by Barlas, there’s a beautiful, intimate rocky beach. Callisto felt like home to me, especially since my family is from Messinia and I spent summers here as a kid. The resort is charming and intimate, and the staff were exceptionally kind. The care was amazing, and even the toiletries, including shampoo, conditioner, and soaps, came from a high-quality local olive oil brand. I absolutely adored my stay.

Thanks for hosting our yoga Retreat again. It already feels like coming home ❤️. Right by the sea, with a wonderful view and the sweetest people, this place is pure magic!

The peace here was incredible, all day and into the evening when we could watch the stars. We loved the balcony, terrace, sea view, and the lovely pool, where we could take the kids for a dip or have a quick morning swim. Our family had a dream stay in a spacious apartment that felt modern but elegant and full of flair. Breakfast was amazing, fresh, delicious, homemade, and home-cooked, with something a little different each day and generous portions. The reception and breakfast staff were very friendly. We loved our time at Callisto, a real escape from everyday life surrounded by beauty and quality.
