Kyparissia Beach Hotel

The staff at reception were so kind and helpful. I was trying to find a Greek woman I fell in love with 40 years ago, who had lived in Kyparissia, but I'd lost her address. They managed to find her and made it possible for us to meet again and share memories of the past. Thank you só much! That made my stay special, and I'd definitely return to your lovely hotel whenever I'm in Kyparissia again. The location was perfect, quiet and opposite a harbor, but only a short walk to the center. Our room had everything we needed, including a balcony overlooking the pool, harbor and sea. I enjoyed the stay beyond my expectations.

The town and coast looked beautiful from the castle up the hill, and there's a 5euro taxi ride up. There are traditional taverns on the way back down. It's a scenic, very Greek place that isn't overrun with tourists. Lots of taverns and small bars to choose from, with incredibly cheap food and drinks, huge portions in most places, and excellent quality. Hotel food is limited but very nice. Breakfast has loads of choice: perculated coffee, tea, fresh orange, breads and pastries, sweet and savoury, warm sausage and eggs, cereals, jams, nuts and Greek yogurt. Drinks and food at the hotel cost a little more than up town, but are worth it. The hotel is well located, a five minute walk to the beach, two minutes to the fishing harbour and five minutes to town. Rooms face the sea or, at the back, the hills. Each has a fridge, smart TV, hairdryer, shower, toilet and sink, a well lit mirror, and plenty of cupboard space. Towels are changed every other day, and maids come daily. It's very clean. There's no kettle, so take your own. WiFi is okay, and there's a small library in the quiet room. The pool is quite cool, while the sea is nice and warm, with turtles swimming. Trips to Mount Olympus, Olympia and other sites are available, about an hour away by taxi. The airport is 55mins away. I'd highly recommend it for an affordable, quiet, relaxing holiday. It's more of an adult place and isn't really set up for children.

The hotel's location is excellent. Kyparissia is a charming little town worth exploring, and beautiful waterfalls and beaches are about an hour's drive away. The breakfast, pool and especially the staff were outstanding. The staff were some of the friendliest I've encountered, which made the five-day stay feel special. I'm happy with my visit and would recommend Kyparissia Beach Hotel to anyone in the area. The main problem was the air conditioning. It wasn't strong enough, and sleeping was uncomfortable. Most nights I woke up covered in sweat, which really spoiled the chance to relax. For a hotel of this quality, stronger, more reliable air conditioning should be a priority. The internet was weak and unreliable too. That was less of a problem, but could be frustrating when I needed to work or stay connected.

The breakfast has plenty to choose from, and the portions when you order food are so generous that sharing salads and sandwiches makes sense. There are also lots of restaurants and cafes an easy walk away, and the local food is fresh, healthy and lovely. The hotel sits somewhere quiet, the staff are all wonderful and polite, and the cleanliness is second to none. The views are spectacular. I’m here now for three days and will definitely come back.
