Elegant View - Trikala - 3BD Apt

The house was spotless, renovated, and furnished very nicely. But the way we were treated was unacceptable. No one had clearly said pets weren't allowed, and we brought our two-kilogram Maltese toy puppy in its bag. We had the dog with us when we were welcomed on December 26, the day we arrived. While we were out after 9:45 at night, we got 25 calls and five messages telling us to get the dog out of the house. It caused a lot of tension and upset in our family, and our daughter had a panic attack because the dog is her companion. We tried to explain, but she wouldn't accept any solution except removing the dog. We had to look for another place for our daughter and the dog, or return to Athens. We didn't want to take things further because we were invited to a wedding. The day after the wedding, after we had left the house, a family member who was meant to arrive later was still there. They suddenly heard keys and saw a door opening, even though it wasn't the entrance door and the owner had kept it locked from the start. There was a commotion. When our family member spoke to the owner, who was coming into the house, she said she was bringing a receipt she didn't have, then left it there. We're truly sorry that these days there seems to be no humanity or privacy in places people rent for various reasons. Who knows what could happen to you! The dog was always with us, even at the wedding and at the natural history museum!!!!

I was at the event with user Sofia Arzeni. Sadly, everything she wrote in her review is true.

Mrs. Sophie, the owner, is so sweet and kind that you feel at ease as soon as you meet her. We stayed for three days while a European Kyokushin championship was taking place in Trikala, and the house had everything our athletes needed to relax and rest before their matches. It's a wonderful, comfortable house, almost like a luxury residence, with everything you need and more. An excellent 10 in every way! We'll definitely be back for a longer stay!

The hosts were very kind, and the accommodation was luxurious with a beautiful view. I highly recommend it and will definitely come back.
