Ellie's House

It’s a beautiful, renovated place, very clean and well equipped, and conveniently close to the Elf Mill and city center. The price was quite good compared with other places, especially for the Christmas high season when we visited. The gentleman who welcomed us, the woman who cleaned the room before we arrived, and the employees we spoke with by phone were all kind. I’d recommend it, though some organizational issues left us confused. We chose it months earlier because we were told it had parking, but that was no longer the case, and nobody told us before we arrived. During the stay, the accommodation said there was a private outdoor lot where guests could get a better daily rate by giving their names. But after speaking with the lot owner, we were told there was no such arrangement or official partnership. The cleaner was cheerful and helpful, and assisted us with a few things we needed. Still, the room wasn’t cleaned daily or even every two days. That’s usually fine, but this room was small and in an attic, and the shower was level with the bathroom floor. Dust and lint gathered on the floor, and water pooled in the bathroom, making things a little unhygienic.
