Petite Luxury Urban House

We spent three days here at Christmas with our two small children, and it felt like home. It’s a detached house on a quiet street, with plenty of parking outside and about a 10-minute walk to the center. Inside it was warm, modern, and generally clean. It was close to 0°C outside, but we were very warm indoors. The bathroom was a little small but fine, and the kids enjoyed it. There’s a huge bed, smart TVs everywhere, free Wi-Fi, and a very comfortable sofa. The owner, Mr. Yiannis, shared useful tips and suggestions for the city.

We especially appreciated being able to bring our pet, which we hadn’t found easily elsewhere in Trikala. The detached house is in a peaceful neighborhood, about a 10-minute walk from the center, and has a yard. It’s recently renovated, with comfortable beds and sofas, new air conditioners, smart TVs, fast internet, books, board games for different ages, and toys for little kids. We stayed for three days at the start of July. A few practical things made the stay harder. There was nowhere to put our belongings, as the bedrooms and bathroom could use shelves or small storage furniture. The rooms also only had main overhead lights, so one person couldn’t read while the other slept. We found very few basic supplies: no shower gel, only a nearly empty bar of soap, and no kitchen roll, bin bags, or similar everyday items. There’s a supermarket nearby, so we bought what we needed, but I didn’t want to keep asking the host for things. Since there’s no daily cleaning, a broom, dustpan, and some cleaning products would also have helped. I hope Mr. Giannis can address these points. Thanks to him, and despite the shortcomings, we’d stay here again.

The hosts were so welcoming and helped with everything we asked about the Trikala area. The house is laid out nicely, the beds are really comfortable, and parking was easy. It’s in a very quiet spot, but still just a short walk from the center. We’ll definitely pick this place again on our next trip to Trikala.
