We’ve stayed here twice, and I’ll definitely come back. It’s especially good for families with young kids, with a playground between the restaurant and beach. The sandy beach has no rocks, even in the water, which is very clean. Sunbeds are free if you order drinks, and the seaweed-covered umbrellas give great shade. The restaurant has plenty of food and drinks, including cocktails and smoothies, and they’ll bring them to you on the beach. The owners are polite and helpful. Mr. Jordanis is always around taking care of things so guests feel welcome and comfortable, and his wife is helpful too, especially with things outside the hotel. She’s from Serbia, which could be useful for Serbian tourists who don’t speak English. Breakfast is excellent and varied, so I suggest booking it with the room and ordering the mixed breakfast. I’d also recommend buying the owner’s homemade, virgin, cold-pressed olive oil. He gave us homemade dried herb tea to take home as well. One thing to know, Nea Roda isn’t the place for a party holiday.
