We came for the natural scenery, not a resort-style, lazy holiday, and the coves, reefs, forests, and waterfalls made this a great base. The rooms are plain but roomy, with tiled floors, big beds, air conditioning, and, in ours, a large fridge and kettle. We used those to prepare meals and eat on the generous balcony. The staff kept everything spotless. Meals were another highlight. Breakfast and dinner were simple, tasty, and made with produce from the hotel gardens and freshly caught local fish. Dinner was one dish per day, and we could decide that morning whether to order it. Prices were not always clearly explained, but were very reasonable. In September 2025, breakfast was 12 euros and mains were about 14-20 euros, including dishes like moussaka, crayfish pasta, and baked fish with vegetables. When the sea was too rough for swimming, we explored the gorges running down from the mountains. In late summer they were dry, so we started at the coast and scrambled upstream as far as we could. We picked a few at random, including the one at Milopotamos, and had a fantastic few hours without seeing anyone else.

It felt like staying at home, and Yasemi made us feel so welcome. The rooms were very clean, and the view is stunning. Hotel lighthouse (Faros) is a wonderful place to stay, one of those experiences you remember for a long time. Thank you for the hospitality!

We spent two days here and hope to return for a longer visit. The location is special, with a private beach and a laid-back atmosphere. Our room was very clean, and breakfast was excellent, mostly made with ingredients from the local farm.

The room's spectacular sea view made it clear right away that I'd found somewhere special. I came across the hotel on a map while looking for places in this part of Greece, and felt drawn to it. Now I understand why. It feels so much like home that calling it a hotel doesn't quite fit. It's one of my favorite places in the world. The home-cooked meals, made with their own produce, were delicious. There's a lovely beach within walking distance, plus a private beach with ladders down into the water. I almost want to keep the place to myself so crowds don't spoil it, but the owners are so wonderful that people should know about it.

For a quiet break, this place is hard to beat. The sea is serene, the water crystal clear, and the hosts are warm. Wood and stone give the rooms and shared spaces a lovely feel, and the homemade food uses ingredients grown and produced right there. It's one of my favorite destinations. Prices are ridiculously low, too. If you want an occasional night out, busier beaches, clubs, and restaurants are just a short drive away. I especially recommend it to artists looking for solitude.
