The hiking trails are just minutes away, and you can be out on a scenic path almost as soon as you step outside. There are also some lovely local restaurants nearby for a meal after walking or strolling through the quiet village streets. The hosts are warm, helpful, and full of local tips. They really go out of their way to make guests feel at home. Breakfast and the weekend dinners are freshly prepared with local ingredients and served in a cozy dining room that feels like someone’s lovely home. Warm breads and jams, hearty stews, and well-cooked meats made for comforting, delicious meals. It’s pet-friendly, and there are plenty of furry friends around too! The Lost Unicorn feels like a place from a romantic novel, tucked into the mountains in a charming colonial-style house that’s been turned into a hotel. It’s serene, timeless, and full of old-world charm. A peaceful retreat and an experience in its own right.
