Loukas Apartments On The Waves

There are a few restaurants, supermarkets, and everything else you might need for a holiday less than a five-minute walk from the main street. The area is calm, not as busy as other parts of the island, and we never had trouble finding a chair by the pool or on the beach. Our room was spacious, very clean, and well kept the whole time. The people here were lovely and really wanted to help us have the best stay. Just amazing, really.

The beds were very good and the rooms were in very good condition. The location suited us well because it’s quiet, away from the tourist rush, but still not far from the Tsilivi main street. With a car, or a scooter, I’d give it 5/5. It depends on what you need, and we had a car. I’d have given five stars, except air conditioning is optional and costs extra per day.

The place is run by a caring family, and the rooms were spacious and cleaned every day by attentive staff. The pool is decent, but the setting right above the beach is what made it work so well for us. With kids, five hours of beach and sand usually isn’t a good match for us. Here, it took just 30 seconds down two steps to reach a small, gorgeous beach. If you’d rather stay by the pool, there are at least seven sets of sun chairs facing the ocean, with a full 180-degree view of the water and the sound of the waves.

The pool area has a lot of wasps. Some days there were so many it looked like the ground was moving, which was a downside, though for the most part they leave you alone. The beach is sandy and nice, and the rooms are lovely. The cleaning service was great, and the staff were helpful. Both restaurants by the beach serve nice food and have nice employees. I’d definitely come back.
