Yanna Studios & Apartments

There's plenty of parking, and the hosts were cheerful and really helpful. The hotel sits high on a hill with a lovely view, yet the centre and beach are walkable. Our room was large and very clean, with a spacious balcony. The pool among the banana trees was lovely too.

The pool was a relaxing spot, with nice views and Kefalonia visible in the distance. Parking is good, the petrol station is close, and the Wi-Fi was easy to access. The kitchenette has a small fridge and kettle, and it's a handy base for driving around the island, which is small enough to get around easily. In town there's a Spar, pharmacy and bakery, while Lidl is about a 10-minute drive away. We had the week's best meal at Cafe Ouzeri Tsilivi, just a two-minute walk away. The owners are friendly, though they do try to discourage using the A/C, which was annoying when we're not used to the heat. The beds weren't very comfortable. The kitchen things needed washing, and there was no soap or sponge. The drain smelled and emptied slowly. It's a case of getting what you pay for, so don't expect five stars.

Yanna and Yannis were so kind and ready to help whenever we needed them. They gave us tips on where to see sunrises and sunsets, find beautiful landscapes, and which beaches to visit. Our late evening flight was no problem either, as they let us stay as long as we needed on the last day. The room was clean and had the basics, plus free air conditioning. From the balcony you can see all of Tsilivi, and the beach is about a 15-minute walk away. There's also a pool with free sunbeds. It's a great spot whether you want to relax or explore by car. The studio is centrally placed on the island's east coast, so the points of interest are quick to reach. The farthest places in each direction, Skinari, Vasilikos and Kambi, took around 40 minutes to drive.

Yanna and her husband were so kind. They gave us Greek food as a gift, and let us stay until the evening because our flight was late. From the balcony you can see all of Tsilivi, and it's a lovely place to have breakfast or dinner. There's free air conditioning and the basics for cooking. Honestly, just book this place! 😍😍
