The house was comfortable and only a four-minute walk from the village center. My partner and I had a wonderful stay with Nikos and Lola, who were lovely hosts. Their beautiful farm has herbs and fresh fruit growing, as well as lovely animals. They also make really amazing organic olive oil. I’d definitely stay there again.

Everything was perfect when we booked the whole Fabrica Farm for our wedding. Mr Nikos and Lola looked after us so thoughtfully, and all our guests were extremely happy. The place feels magical. Thank you so much for everything, we’ll of course be back very soon :)

Vamos is the village my Yiayia came from, so staying in the farm cottage this past summer was a chance to visit and felt like being at home. The farm is an easy walk from the village, with plenty to see and sample. One day, Nikos and Lola drove us around the area to see my Papou's village, Sellia. That day ended with an incredible dinner at a restaurant on Souda Bay. We also finished the trip at Nikos brother's restaurant in Vamos, where the local flavors were incredible and authentic. Nikos and Lola are the epitome of Cretan hospitality. Mary and I are already looking forward to another chance to visit them.

The food is delicious, and sharing it with people like Nikos and Lola is always a pleasure. They’re warm, kind, smiley people who are interested in getting to know their visitors. The guesthouses have all the amenities, and their traditional architecture fits beautifully with the surroundings. The "Aromatic Plants" project is lovely and worth a visit.

We go there in July for one or more of the jazz concerts. The atmosphere is lovely, and it’s worth going even if you’re not into jazz.
