The local Greek Night was a highlight, with tasty food and plenty of dancing at a lovely taverna. We had an amazing stay at Villa Lagaria, the villa was gorgeous and had more than everything we needed. Thanks for having us. I’d happily recommend it for a luxury Greek holiday.
We’ve been coming to Villa Lagaria for years with family and close friends, and I can’t imagine choosing anywhere else. It’s become one of my favorite places in the world, tied to so many happy memories. The villa feels like a peaceful haven, with exquisite furnishings, sun loungers by the pool and hot tub, beautifully planted gardens, and panoramic sea views. Every detail feels thoughtfully cared for, from the interiors to the outdoor spaces. The setting is quiet and off the beaten track, which we love. You do need a car for the nearby restaurants, the friendly port, and exploring the island, though we often find ourselves asking why we’d go anywhere when Lagaria has everything. The owners and hosts are always happy to help, and the daily cleaning is discreet and impeccable. Six-star luxury.
The grounds and pool areas were kept to a really high standard, and the villa itself was spotless. The team gave us excellent service and made sure we had everything we could need for a home-from-home stay. Lagaria has a lovely spacious layout and exquisite design. I’d definitely book it again.
We’ve already booked to return to Lagaria. The whole team took such good care of us, from our first booking enquiry right through to the end of the stay, including the wonderful Anna. The villa is beautiful and luxurious but still has a relaxed feel. I especially loved the pool, dreamy day beds and jacuzzi. It’s in a stunning part of Zakynthos and would be great for a large family. Highly recommend.
This was my fourth time at Lagaria, and I’m already plotting another visit. I love the quiet setting and those panoramic sea views. It’s only a short drive down the hill to Peligoni Club, around 5-10 minutes, and there are plenty of good restaurants nearby. The Windmill is a big favorite, and so is Nobelos. The stone farmhouse is gorgeous, with lovely gardens, a beautiful pool and tasteful interiors. Everything feels thoughtfully designed and furnished with care. Anna and Nicoletta looked after us so well, and nothing was too much trouble.
