The bathroom was the one letdown: it was small and oddly laid out, so showering felt awkward, though the water pressure was good. The rest worked really well for an overnight stay. The price was low, the location was excellent, and the room had what I needed, including a comfortable bed, balcony with a perfect view, air conditioning, wardrobe, hairdryer, and plenty of outlets. There’s a small parking area in front, so the car was safely parked. I can’t complain about a place where I slept well and felt comfortable.

Martha made us feel welcome from the moment we checked in, and I was sorry to leave. We also got lucky and met the gorgeous, gentle old dog who welcomes guests. The hotel has an old-fashioned charm rather than a modern look, and the value is incredible. Our room had a sea-view balcony, comfy beds, and a warm duvet, which was lovely in December. Everything was clean, the food was good at both dinner and breakfast, and the shower had amazing pressure. Beautiful setting, friendly welcome, and really good value. 100% recommended.

It’s a two-star hotel, just a few metres from the beach, with parking and shops within walking distance. There’s also a restaurant and bar on site. The downside is that the waitresses can sometimes be noisy and interrupt your rest.

The room’s shower was a mess: the curtain sat outside the shower, so using it flooded the bathroom. Breakfast was just as disappointing. There were glasses but no water, butter but no bread, and hardly any food to choose from, so I have no idea what I paid for. At check-in, staff argued and shouted at one another the whole time. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place.

I only ate at the restaurant, so I can’t comment on the rooms. The food was very good, and the staff were great too.
