It’s right by the sea at Lefkanti, in a calm setting about an hour from Athens and close to Chalkida. There are no typical music beach bars or the bustle of mass tourism, which makes it ideal for families or anyone looking for peace. The rooms are convenient en suite studios, with kitchen equipment that lets you cook full meals if you’d rather not spend money at taverns. The staff, mostly the owning family, are friendly, kind, organized, and supportive. Breakfast and lunch are also available at the hotel restaurant, prepared in a bespoke manner.

It still has the feel and look of a Greek hotel from the 80s. The room was spacious, but not especially clean. There were still hairs in the sink from previous visitors, and the service wasn’t the best.

You can see the sea from the balcony, and it’s just across the road. The staff were helpful, and the room had what we needed for a comfortable stay, including Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a kitchen, and TV.
