Peace and quiet, with the beach and its crystal-clear water just a few steps away. The hotel is beautiful, clean and cozy, with amazing views, friendly service, and a great swimming pool.

The views are splendid, a “million dollars view,” and our room in the new part of the hotel was brand new. The pool was very clean and cleaned every day. The tap water was salty, so you need to buy still water for drinking or making coffee or tea. There was no kettle or hairdryer in the room. I was surprised by the bad opinions about the owner. He seemed like a normal guy, resolute, helpful, and assertive. If he can’t help, he simply tells you. This is a place for independent, mature people, not for anyone looking for someone to look after them. I definitely recommend it for a peaceful stay, as long as you’re not the kind of person who only looks for drawbacks.

I only visited the restaurant on the beach. The setting is beautiful, no doubt, but the food wasn’t good. When prices are so high and it’s meant to be a luxury service, the quality should be top-notch. The products didn’t seem fresh, just industrial, and there was moisture on my fruit salad. What a shame!

The staff work hard and are very helpful, and the hotel has a pool where they make amazing Mojitos. The location is fantastic, right on the island’s best public beach. For €180 a night, though, it makes no sense to have no water glasses, tea or coffee, or even a kettle in the rooms. Breakfast is what they call continental: you help yourself and take your dishes to the counter. The WiFi is so terrible it keeps the hotel from getting a 4. Would I stay again? Yes, but I’d ask for their self-catering section.
