Liuba Houses

The heated pool was a lovely place to spend time, and there were cats wandering around too, all so friendly. We stayed in the Green House with my parents and brother and had a great holiday. Gerakas, about 500 meters away, and Banana Beach, five minutes by car, were our favorite beaches. The airport is only around 20 minutes away. There’s also a small turtle rescue museum with free entry, a gift shop, and aquariums with turtles and fish. Jorgos and Agata were such kind hosts, thank you!

The owner and his family at Liuba Houses were wonderful, and their tips helped us have a great time. Gerakas and the surrounding area felt like the most beautiful part of the island to us: quiet, with no big hotel complexes or crowds. Construction is limited because of the National Marine Park of Zakynthos. If you’re after a peaceful break in lovely natural surroundings, and you like turtles, Liuba houses is a great place to stay.

The garden around the cottages was magical, full of greenery and colorful flowers, and leaving felt like saying goodbye to family. We stayed in the Green House as a family of four, and it had everything we needed. The kitchen was practical and very well equipped, the cottage was spotless, and it was cleaned each day while we were out. We visited in the last week of April, so we had the whole heated pool to ourselves, with clean, comfortable mattresses on the loungers. After years of holidays, this is the first place we’ve wanted to return to. Agata and Jorgos, thank you for everything. We really hope to see you again. Ania and Family.

Set among olive trees, these little houses are lovely and have everything you need for a holiday. It was very clean, and the location worked perfectly for us, close to the best beaches, with Gerakas about a 10-minute walk away, and some really good taverns. The hosts were kind and honest, and gave us great recommendations for our stay.
