Memorias Villas & Suites

We hired a car at the airport, which made it easy to see more of the island, though the beaches, tavernas, bakery, and supermarket are all within walking distance. We’ve just come back from ten nights at Memorias, and it was perfect. Joanna was helpful from the moment we arrived and was always happy to help. The villa has lots of thoughtful details, and we were welcomed with a basket, fresh fruit, and wine. They also gave us oil, jam, olives, and delicious homemade Moussaka. We’d highly recommend it and will be back!

Emily and the rest of the team made everything feel personal and were always there if we needed anything. The villas are in a beautiful village, with fantastic views and the best tavernas and bakeries close by. The interior and exterior design are second to none. I couldn’t fault a thing, and we absolutely loved our stay at Memorias.

We especially enjoyed walking through the olive trees and past small farms to the local coffee shop, supermarket, and taverns. The countryside around Vasilkos is wonderfully relaxing. The villa was spotless and comfortable, with great ocean views and lots of outdoor space, including a grill and dining area, outdoor showers, and a pool. Even the toiletries smelled fantastic. Emily, Fotini, and the daily cleaning staff were welcoming and went above and beyond. They arranged reliable transport, massages, chef and restaurant suggestions, fresh fruit, wine and snacks, and a local restaurant delivery. They even gave us an emergency ride to the pharmacy. We can’t say enough about their friendly, professional service. We had an amazing ten-day stay, beyond what we expected. Highly recommend!

The area has the basics close by: a 15-minute walk to the village with two shops, five restaurants, a great bakery, and two bars, one of which shows sports. You can walk to the local beach and bays in Vasilikos, but you’ll need transport for more nightlife or restaurant options further afield. Getting around the island is easy by car, and it’s beautiful to explore. The villa is a perfect quiet base for relaxing and dipping into Zante when you feel like it. It’s incredible, with amazing views and lots of thoughtful touches, and I’d happily spend as much time there as possible. Emily and her team were fantastic, quick to respond to every question and request, and always happy to help. We’re already booking a return.
