Palazzo Loupassi Boutique Villas

The pool was the highlight for me, with good sunbeds and umbrellas, and lovely mountain views. We had three really peaceful days here, and breakfast was excellent, served at the table by the pool, where you can sit indoors or out. The suite was spacious, though its dark, older furniture, limited natural light, dust and slightly musty smell made it feel a bit neglected. The friendly owner said there were more guests, but we were the only ones using the private pool for two of our three days. The hotel is in a beautiful setting and feels like a welcome break from the busy coast. It’s remote, so you’ll need a car. There are nice restaurants nearby, but not close enough to walk to. The place seems past its heyday and could use some maintenance here and there. We found it by chance, partly because of a good deal on booking.com. At full price, it would have felt too expensive, but it was still a lovely spot for a few days.

The staff are lovely, and the mountain views are magnificent. The apartments, rooms, and terraces are all fantastic. It’s a castle where you really do feel at home, and one of the region’s most beautiful places. I can’t think of a single downside.

Clean rooms, a swimming pool, an internet cafe and a great bar, all in a welcoming, picturesque place. I recommend it without hesitation!
