Small apartment, great view!

Getting to the apartment takes some effort because it’s among crowded streets that can be tricky to navigate. Google Maps is probably the better way to find it. Once there, it’s a modest, simple, good apartment, very cosy, with excellent hospitality.

It’s surprising to be asked who I am and when I stayed, since I booked through Booking and you should have a record of reservations. Here’s why I gave two stars. The listing promised a double bed and a sofa bed, but the sofa was just a regular, uncomfortable one. We asked for sheets straight away and didn’t get them. When we followed up, we were asked, “You booked last minute (in the morning for the same night), do you really need them?” The apartment is very small, has no table or view, and only the bedroom has air conditioning. Cleanliness was just acceptable, and the shower head holder fell on our heads. Reviews should be a chance to improve. Replying “Who are you and when did you stay here?” doesn’t seem constructive. … Thanks for contacting me on WhatsApp about my review. I’m adding the photo here for completeness.

The apartment is spacious, has closets, a balcony, no stairs, and is well equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, oven, electric kettle, and air conditioner. It’s in a good location, easy to find thanks to the owner’s organization, and the price is great. The shower is the big problem. There was no hot water when we arrived at 21:00, and the water was freezing. We turned on the heating, but it switched off automatically every half hour; by 23:00, we could only manage a short shower. The shower area is cramped, and there’s nothing to hold the faucet, so you have to hold it yourself. The Wi-Fi is so slow it’s unusable, and the toilet keeps running. It’s a shame the shower lets down an otherwise perfect apartment. I hope the owner fixes it. If you can live with those problems, you should definitely take the apartment.

The view from the apartment is amazing, and the balcony was full of blossoms. It’s a very nice, clean place, just 3 minutes from downtown by car. Thanks, Freny, for the great hospitality. Highly recommend.
