The owner was friendly, though the staff didn't feel especially welcoming, and the property could use some updating. The setting is beautiful, and there is a sauna and jacuzzi, but both cost extra. Our comfort was affected by the very firm mattresses. For the price, the quality didn't match what I'd typically expect in Greece.

The breakfast was excellent, almost too much food: porridge, cereal, yogurt and honey, eggs, bread, ham, cheese, spinach and cheese pastries, cake, and jams. It's a large site with facilities and good views. This is basically the only place to stay in town if you're walking the Menalon Trail, which probably explains why it's much pricier than most other stops along the trail. Still, I had a very pleasant stay.

Beautiful views and a relaxed, friendly feel. I enjoyed every minute. A lovely base for 3-4 days exploring the mountains and the region.
