Azur Hotel Volos by GHH

We had a great stay and would happily come back. The room was clean, and reception patiently answered all our questions. Food, drinks, and shops are all within walking distance.

We were catching an early ferry to Skiathos, and breakfast began too late for us to eat there. The staff kindly packed fruit and sandwiches instead, which we really appreciated. They also helped with parking and upgraded our room. Our room was small, but clean, modern, and nicely decorated, with air conditioning, a fridge, water, tea, coffee, and toiletries. The lobby was pleasant and had a small bar. Azur Hotel is centrally placed between the waterfront and the main road, and we thought it was very good value. We’d stay again.

We only stayed for one night, but had a great time. The breakfast was great too, and we liked the room with a sea view. We’ll probably come back.

I called Azur Hotel in Volos to ask about rooms for our two families, including one with a 3-year-old. At first they said rooms were available, then changed that to “Sorry, we don’t have rooms” once I explained our situation. I asked if a double room with a crib could work for the child, and they said no. Then they wished me happy holidays and abruptly hung up. Very disappointing service.
