We really enjoyed our stay here. The host was lovely, and the modern bathroom and handy kitchen made things comfortable. It’s a small, cozy place, but the roof terrace is big, with cute plants and a view over Volos and Mount Pelion, including villages like Makrinitsa and Portaria. Makrinitsa isn’t that far, by the way, and you should definitely take a trip up there. It’s a little way from the centre and bus station, but public transport connects it well. There’s a supermarket, bakery, bus stop with routes to the centre and main bus station, and a taxi stand close by.

The panoramic view of Volos was lovely, and the host even helped me order from a delicious souvlaki place nearby. It’s about a 6-minute drive to downtown Volos. I stayed for two nights over Dec 31-Jan 1 and it was perfect: clean, quiet, heated accommodation, plenty of parking outside, a hot shower and a small kitchen. I highly recommend it!

The host was very friendly and helpful, and the neighborhood was good. I loved the beautiful view from the terrace. It’s a little far away, but within reach of all the services I needed. Simple and cozy, and a good experience for a three-week stay.

The owner was lovely and lent me a hair dryer, the washing machine, and even a bike. The Wi-Fi, though, was unreliable and pretty bad, which caused me problems. It’s a bit of a trip to reach the sea or the city center, so having a car or scooter would make this place much better.

You get a full 360-degree view from this renovated rooftop flat. It’s cozy and nicely done, and far enough from the city bustle to be quiet while still within walking distance of everything.
