Breakfast, parking, and very good service, along with really clean rooms, made this a welcoming guesthouse. More than worth the price.

The breakfast is homemade and well worth trying. You can have it in the indoor hall or out in the courtyard under the mulberries, with a view of Volos, and it makes a lovely start to the day for a small price. The owners and staff were courteous and welcoming throughout our stay. Makrychori is just outside Portaria, and the guesthouse is in a quiet, beautiful spot. There's room to park without worrying about how you'll get back onto the road. The rooms were clean, with plenty of hot water and good shower pressure. The architecture is lovely, and the shared spaces have excellent decor. It's a wonderful place in many ways. If you're planning a trip to Pelion, Kolenti guesthouse is well worth it. Thanks for the hospitality!
