Hotel Argo

I missed my ferry connection for Skiathos and had to stay overnight, and luckily got the last room. The reception is open 24 hours, with a lovely marble entrance and staircase, and all the staff were friendly and helpful. There's no lift, though. My room was basic but very clean and comfortable, with everything I needed, including great air conditioning, a fridge, and free Wi-Fi. It's right in the middle of the main shopping district, though most shops close on Saturday afternoons. The ferries are a 10-15 minute walk away. My only gripe was the noise from the main road outside my room, even with the doors shut. Still, it was a very good stay and I'd come back.

The staff were kind and helpful from the moment we arrived. They carried our luggage and gave us tips about the city. The rooms were very clean, and there was always hot water. Great service and an excellent location, all at very reasonable prices. We'll stay at Hotel Argo again soon!

A great value for the location, right by everything you need in the heart of Volos. The rooms are somewhat small, but clean and cozy. I've seen complaints about the lack of an elevator, though you only have to walk up at most three floors. The staff are very friendly, offer city tips, and help carry your luggage. There's a concierge available around the clock. I'll be back soon!

We only stayed for one night before travelling somewhere else the next morning, and the small bathroom didn't bother us. The room was nice, the staff were kind, and the hotel itself was lovely with nothing to dislike. I'd choose it again if I stayed in Volos.
