The beach, bars, and even a market shop are all close by. We stayed two nights, and the hotel was very clean, with the rooms serviced daily and nice balcony views. There’s a common room too, and the staff were kind and helpful. The hotel has no lift, but Melisa gave us such a warm welcome that Dimitri’s strong arms made getting our luggage up and down the stairs no trouble. Meals were buffet style, with breakfast and dinner served at 8pm. With our group of 40-plus, drinks being beside the food buffet caused some queueing. I’d suggest putting cold drinks with the hot ones on the other side of the dining room. Maybe it’s less of an issue with fewer guests. I’d recommend the place. Thanks for the service.

The staff were especially polite and helpful, always smiling and ready with useful advice. I loved how close the hotel was to the beach, and the electric car charging station was a welcome extra. Breakfast had lots of variety and was served in a charming little yard. My room was spotless and well kept, and the bed was so comfortable I slept like a baby. I had a wonderful stay at hotel Karagiannis and would happily return. Highly recommended!

The sea is close, and the room had air conditioning and insect screens. We stayed three nights. The rooms are on the small side, but fully equipped and perfectly clean. The owners were especially friendly and very willing to help. Breakfast and dinner were extremely generous, and for us as travelers from abroad, they were a lovely taste of Greece.

Asimenia & Dimitris, the owners, make sure you have a great, memorable stay. The hotel is clean and comfortable, conveniently located near Volos, and has parking. The breakfast is among the best you’ll ever have. A real gem.

The hotel’s peaceful setting gives you a nice balance: Volos is only a short drive away, while the area around the hotel is quiet. There’s plenty to do nearby, whether you feel like relaxing or exploring, and the place feels genuinely local. We’ve returned to Hotel Karagiani every year for five years now, and it feels like a second home. Dimitri and Asimenia are so kind and welcoming. Asimenia’s personal touch makes the homemade, fresh breakfast, full of Greek spirit, a real highlight. We keep coming back for that warm, peaceful, truly Greek experience. Highly recommended.
