The breakfast alone, served in such a lovely setting, was one of the best I’ve ever had. And make sure you eat dinner here too, it was the best meal we had in Greece. This is the kind of special place you’ll remember years later and want to return to, even booking another trip to Greece just for it. Do yourself a favour and stay.

Breakfast under the trees each morning was a real highlight, and the food was very good. We spent three days at Kritsa Hotel and came away very happy. Its central spot on the village square is fantastic, and we loved how the hotel has kept its traditional architecture and design. Our room was spotless and had everything we needed. Everyone on staff was polite, and Vasilis, who worked the morning shifts, deserves a special thank you. He was thoughtful, kind, and helpful, and did a lot to make sure we had a good stay. We’ll definitely come back.

The food is phenomenal, so be sure to try it. The hotel and restaurant have a beautiful design and a warm, welcoming feel, both indoors and in the dining area. One of the best places to visit.

Everything served at their restaurant comes from their organic farm, including the butter and honey. It’s about four hours from Athens. The drive is lovely, mostly by the coast before winding up through the mountains and some very picturesque villages.
