The location was fine, but calling this a four-star hotel is hard to believe. The food was awful, and when we asked for a second keycard they refused, even though we had proof we'd handed the first one to reception and never got it back. Our five-person suite felt more like a room for two because two or three of the beds were broken. There was no air conditioning. It also didn't feel safe for kids: the door mechanism is so bad that if it takes too long to open, an alarm rings and could frighten a child, and it's easy to fall. I'm 2m tall and kept hitting my head on the staircase ceiling.

The food was just okay, and sometimes bad. Beyond that, the whole stay felt sad. The towels were dirty, the sheets old and yellowed, and the faucets rusty. The ventilation was the worst I've seen: you couldn't switch off the air conditioning while keeping some air moving, even in the windowless bathroom. We had to put up with air circulating across the whole floor, not just our room. There was only one tiny hotel shampoo bottle for two of us. For a place rated four stars, this was one of the worst I've stayed in. I wouldn't recommend it or want to come back.

The cleaning ladies were gentle and worked hard, but the rest of the service left me feeling less well treated than at other hotels I've stayed in. At 10:07, I was told breakfast was over and they couldn't serve me, since it was meant to end at 10. The air conditioning also wasn't working when we woke up in the morning, just as we were due to leave.

Being close enough to walk to the city center was the best thing about the hotel. My room had no balcony and felt cramped, since it was a double with an extra bed added. The cleaning wasn't great either, and there was a strange stain on the mattress. Just a pretty meh stay.
