I wish I’d had more chances to eat at Dimitris. It’s a pleasant family-run restaurant with an amazing view of the port and cliffs. The food felt very authentic, fresh, and tasty. Even the simplest dishes were better than what we had at other restaurants. There are daily specials, with a lovely touch of family recipes, and the service is great in a laid-back setting. The homemade desserts were hands down the best I had in Greece. My girlfriend, who’s actually from Greece, agreed. Don’t leave the island without trying it!

We went back two more nights after our first visit. The roast lamb with lemon was great, and for our last evening Yannis said he’d find us some good fish. We had a large fish, possibly red bream. I highly recommend this taverna. On our first visit, we stopped for a drink at lunch, then came back for dinner. We had the specials, a great moussaka and delicious roast chicken in lemon sauce with roast potatoes, along with a village salad. We followed that with ouzo and white wine, then half a litre of red. To finish, Metaxa and a whisky. Great service, and it all came to €60 including the tip.

A very peaceful spot by the sea. The setting is beautiful, the view stunning, and the traditional Greek food was excellent. Service was great too. The waitress spoke a little English, and everything was quick and smooth. I had a lovely lunch and would definitely recommend it.

We had a tasty homemade Greek dinner. The food was good, and the ice cream was exceptional. The staff were very nice. There’s parking at the bottom of the road, on the pier.

We went every day. Best taverna on the whole island, and Nikos and Dinos are the best guys here. Had a lovely time hanging out and playing chess with them. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting the island. Can’t wait to see them next year.
