Magnificent Athens Voula

Google seems to think this is a fake review, though I don't know why. I have my stay dates and payment as evidence. I was lucky to meet the housekeeper, Ganka, on my last morning. The apartment was generous and super comfortable, and I was impressed by how well the lovely old furniture had been cared for over the years. Meeting Ganka explained that care. She's a special addition to the 'Magnificent Loft'; her work is impeccable, and it's clear how much effort she puts into making sure the owner's customers feel they're staying in a well-cared-for apartment. The owner is fortunate to have her working alongside her. The apartment is on a beautiful street in Voula, with architecture from different periods of Voula history. It's a lovely, quiet, clean area to wander around. The 'loft' is a ground-floor self-contained studio in a gorgeous house. Everything is quality, from the huge solid bed and big comfortable sofa to the long, wide wardrobe. I especially liked the large French windows opening onto generous balconies, and the thick velvet floor-length curtains with a good cotton mesh inside to keep mozzies out. It's a real discovery, and the owners have been really helpful. I was sad to leave and would have liked to stay forever!
